The I-Hack Attack uses Sports Attack's signature three-wheel throwing head, gripping the ball in three contact points instead of the usual two. This design lets the hitter see the ball clearly through the entire feeding, acceleration and release motion, replicating the timing and stride cues of a live pitcher rather than the obscured release of two-wheel or arm-style machines.

Because pitch type is controlled entirely by adjusting the relative speed of each throwing wheel, the machine throws fastballs, curveballs, sliders, split fingers and sinkers without ever tilting or repositioning the throwing head. A pitch-selection chart on the machine guides operators through setup, and the elevation handle raises or lowers the pitch 4-6 inches per turn so coaches can move a pitch anywhere in the strike zone between reps.

The same throwing head pivots instantly for fungo work, producing towering fly balls, tailing line drives, topspin grounders and catcher's pop-ups, which keeps fielding drills moving with almost no recovery time between hits.
