The Legacy Eclipse Basketball System is built with a one-piece 4” square vertical pole, featuring a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness and designed for a 36” burial in concrete. This pole includes a watertight vinyl cap and is finished with a polyester powder-coated black coating. Its main 45-degree extension arm consists of 4”x4” rectangular 11 gauge wall steel tubing, providing a 36” extension from the front of the pole to the face of the backboard, secured by two 4” zinc plated U-bolts. All steel pole components are welded using a maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure.

The system's backboard is constructed from 1/4” thick smoked tempered glass, marked with bright white ceramic markings fired into the glass, and framed by clear anodized aluminum “L” type extrusions. Its overall size is approximately 60” wide and 36” high, with an additional H-Frame for backboard support. The institutional quality flexible rim features an official 5/8” diameter high strength steel ring, supported by a 3/16” brace covering 60% of the ring, and uses a heavy duty compression wire spring for action. Rim structural components are no less than 3/16” steel, enclosed by a steel coverplate, and finished with an Orange powdercoat. The rim is punched to mount either a 3”x 4” or 5”x 5” hole pattern. The entire system weighs approximately 215# and is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty for the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
