The First Team Legend Impervia Basketball Goal features a 6" square steel pole providing a minimum 66" extension from the pole to the backboard. It includes a 42"x 60" rectangular aluminum backboard and a double 5/8" diameter high-strength steel rim. The rim height is adjustable from 6' to 10', and the entire system weighs approximately 440#.

The First Team Legend Impervia Basketball System features a 6” square 3/16” wall steel tubing vertical pole, designed for 48” burial in concrete and sealed with a welded watertight steel cap. A 6” square 3/16” wall steel tubing main extension arm provides a minimum of 66” extension from the front of the pole to the face of the backboard. This arm is attached to the pole by two ½” thick steel plates and secured with six 5/8” high strength bolts, allowing the rim height to be adjusted from 6’ to 10’.

The system includes a 42”x 60” rectangular aluminum backboard with a 10 gauge aluminum skin and ¼” thick vertical struts. The backboard has a white powdercoat finish and an official orange shooters square. The standard rim is fabricated from 3/16” backplates and sideplates, made from double 5/8” diameter high strength steel welded at a minimum of six places, and finished with an orange powdercoat. Nets are attached via a netlocking system that supports both nylon and chain nets, with a nylon net included.

All steel pole components are constructed using a maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure and finished with a polyester powder-coated black. The rim and backboard are secured to the pole by four high strength steel bolts, ensuring weight suspended from the rim is transferred directly to the pole structure. The backboard is further mounted to the pole at four places along the top and bottom. The entire system has an approximate weight of 440#, and the pole, backboard, and standard rim are covered by a Lifetime Unconditional Warranty.

Lifetime Unconditional Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
