The First Team RollaJam Select Portable Basketball System features a one-piece 4" square vertical pole with a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness, secured to an all-steel base by zinc plated U-bolts. The base is constructed primarily from 3/16" and 11 gauge formed steel, measuring 30" across the front and 48" front to back. It is designed for 'one person' portability, riding on three 4" non-marking wheels, with a 'Post Actuator' that pivots the post to allow the unit to move under any standard height doorway.

This system includes a 1/2" thick acrylic backboard, approximately 60" wide and 36" high, framed with clear anodized aluminum extrusions and featuring bright white screening. The flexible, institutional quality rim has a 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring, a 3/16" brace, and an orange powder-coated finish, mounting directly to the extension arm through the backboard. Its dual 2" x 2" tubing extension arms provide a minimum 24" extension, and the rim height is infinitely adjustable from 10' down to 6 ½' using a 2000# capacity crank cylinder.

The base has a ballast area designed to accept ten 4"x 8"x 16" solid cement blocks, totaling 300 lbs (ballast not included). The system also comes with 2" thick foam upright padding that secures with velcro and does not need removal for transport or adjustment. The entire unit is finished with a powder coat black finish and is backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, with an approximate system weight of 405#.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

  • Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
  • Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
  • Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
  • Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
