In short

The Douglas Hitting Station System is a stand-alone 10 ft. high pole-and-netting frame designed to be placed alongside a batting tunnel, available in a 55' (2-pole) or 70'/75' (3-pole) configuration. It uses 4 in. square steel poles, a 1/4 in. galvanized steel cable, and loose-hung 3.5 mm knotless polypropylene netting with a 325 lb. break strength to absorb ball impact.

The Douglas Baseball/Softball Hitting Station System is a stand-alone 10 ft. high frame intended for use alongside an existing batting tunnel, giving players additional hitting stations before or after their turn in the cage. Impact netting hangs loose between the poles to absorb ball impact and prevent rebound.

The frame is built from 4 in. square heavy-duty steel poles with a black powder coat finish for weather resistance. The 13 ft. poles are installed into 3 ft. deep ground sleeves, and netting is suspended between poles using a 1/4 in. galvanized steel cable.

The high-impact netting is fabricated from black 3.5 mm knotless polypropylene (Pylon) with a 1-3/4 in. square mesh and a reinforced rope border, extruded to resist UV rays, mold and mildew, with a 325 lb. break strength. Customers can choose a 55' system with 2 poles or a 70'/75' system with 3 poles; the complete system ships with all hardware needed for installation, including cable, turnbuckles, c-snaps, collars and ground sleeves.

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
