The Durable Douglas 14 oz FR Vinyl Backdrop Curtains are constructed from premium 14 oz. laminated vinyl-coated polyester with a leather-grain emboss finish, designed to withstand the rigors of busy athletic centers. The material is treated with BACshield for anti-mildew, anti-fungus, antimicrobial, and antibacterial protection, plus UV treatment for fade resistance, and is CPSIA certified for child safety.

Fabrication includes heat-sealed seams for a strong bond and reinforced top hems that are lock-sewn with #2 brass grommets spaced every 12 inches for secure, sag-free installation. Sides can be finished as clean-cut, hemmed with grommets, or integrated Velcro, allowing flexible mounting options. Standard heights run 9-12 feet, with custom heights and widths fabricated to facility requirements.

The curtains meet CSFM, ASTM E84 (Class A), and NFPA-701 flame-resistance standards, satisfying most municipal building codes. Facilities can further customize curtains with doorways, viewing windows, ventilation cutouts, divider wings, printed court numbers, logos, and team graphics, and choose from 15 standard colors including Navy, Dark Green, Royal Blue, and Black.

Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
