In short

The Gared FGP200 is a combination football and soccer goalpost supplied as a pair, letting a single field convert quickly between the two sports. The soccer opening is an official 8' x 24' and the football uprights stand 10' above the crossbar with dual receivers for either 23'-4" high school or 18'-6" college spacing, both meeting NFHS rules. Posts are 4" square steel finished in white powder coat; nets and padding are not included.

The FGP200 is built for multi-use fields where rapid conversion from soccer to football and back is required. Main posts are 4" square steel tubing carrying a 2" x 4" welded steel crossbar, and the 1.9" O.D. x 14 Ga. football uprights slide into square receiver tubes on the crossbar. The outer receivers set the 23'-4" high school width while the inner receivers set the 18'-6" college width, so one frame covers both rulebooks.

Steel posts, uprights and cross member frame are powder coated white, and detachable soccer backstays and ground bar are 1-5/8" O.D. x 13 Ga. galvanized steel. Connection hardware is zinc plated. The goal can be installed permanently in concrete or semi-permanently using the included 4" square ground sleeves and sleeve caps; foundation work and concrete are by others, and J-stake anchors are supplied as standard with underground anchors available at extra cost.

During installation the goal should be fully assembled before being set, since rule restrictions fix the exact height and width and adjustments afterwards are difficult. The bottom edge of the horizontal mast sits 96" from ground level with the top surface at 120", and rear anchors are set in a 12" square by 18" deep footing. Soccer nets are not included: model SN824-4W, an 8 x 24' 4 mm white net, is sold separately in pairs. Padding is not included with the unit.

Warranty

5 Years Limited Warranty

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Frequently asked questions

Are nets included with the FGP200?

No. Nets are sold separately and one pair is required. Gared model SN824-4W is the matching 8 x 24' 4 mm white soccer net, supplied in pairs.

Can the same goal be used for both high school and college football?

Yes. The crossbar has two sets of receiver tubes: the outermost receivers set the 23'-4" high school upright spacing and the inner receivers set the 18'-6" college spacing.

Does the goal have to be set in concrete?

It can be installed permanently in concrete or semi-permanently using the included 4" square ground sleeves and caps. Foundation work is by others; J-stake anchors are supplied as standard and underground anchors are an option.
