In short

The Gared GSPPAD4 is a football goalpost pad for posts up to 6" O.D. It is 6' high, built from 4" thick high-density urethane foam covered in 18 oz UV-resistant coated vinyl, and wraps the main post in the zone where body contact occurs. Fourteen standard colors are stocked, and custom colors and graphics are available on request.

Goalpost pads exist for one reason: players run into the main post. The GSPPAD4 covers the contact zone with 4" of high-density urethane foam, a thickness that absorbs impact rather than simply covering the steel. The pad stands 6' high and fits posts up to 6" O.D.

The outer shell is 18 oz UV-resistant coated vinyl, chosen for outdoor exposure across a full season. Standard colors include black, marine blue, royal blue, navy blue, beige, yellow, orange, red, white, grey, kelly green, forest green, burgundy and purple, so the pad can be matched to school colors. Custom colors and graphics are quoted on request.

The pad is made in the US, weighs 25 lbs (11.34 kg) shipped and ships via UPS at 7" x 30" shipping dimensions.

Warranty

1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in material or factory workmanship

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
