The First Team Galaxy Express Competition Volleyball System features uprights consisting of an external 3 1/2" outside diameter black carbon fiber tube and a 3" outside diameter 6061-T6 aluminum telescoping inner pole. The bottom of the outer tube is fitted with a non-marking footpad to prevent floor damage. The system's one-meter high net is constructed from black polypropylene 3.5mm knotless woven webbing, using a Kevlar top rope and polypropylene bottom rope, and is finished with white tarpaulin fabric. Net height is infinitely variable from a minimum of 78" to 96" through a single threaded release knob per standard.

Net top tensioning is managed by a 26:1 ratio worm gear winch, designed to wind a 2" wide nylon webbing strap, while the bottom rope is tensioned by a ratcheting style tensioner. For player safety, top and bottom ropes are covered by no less than 1/2" thick foam padding with a white vinyl cover, and each standard is padded to a minimum height of 72" with 1 1/2" thick high-density foam, available in 12 school colors. The entire Galaxy Express system weighs 110 lbs. and includes official boundary antennas. Upright standards carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty, with all other components having a 2-Year Limited Warranty, and the system meets or exceeds all NCAA, USVBA, NFHS, and FIVB requirements for competition.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
