The First Team RetroFit36 Endura Refurbishing Kit features a support structure crafted from 1/4” thick steel, finished with a silver powder coat. This structure is engineered to bolt onto the backside of most 36” tall backboards manufactured by First Team, Inc. It includes vertical mounting slots for attachment to most poles equipped with a faceplate measuring at least 6”x6”, though drilling may be required. Additionally, the structure provides rim support to prevent backboard breakage when players hang from the rim.
The backboard provided is a 36”x 60” rectangular aluminum unit, featuring a 10-gauge aluminum pan skin. It comes with a white powder coat finish and an official orange shooters square. The standard rim is constructed from 3/16” fully welded backplates and side plates, made from double 5/8” diameter, high strength steel, welded at a minimum of six points. The entire rim is powder coated orange.
Nets are attached by a net locking system that facilitates the use of either nylon or chain nets, with a nylon net included. The entire system has an approximate weight of 145#. The support structure, backboard, and standard rim are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
