The Retrofit36 Endura includes a robust support structure constructed from 1/4” thick steel with a silver powder coat finish. This structure is designed to bolt onto the backside of most 36” tall backboards manufactured by First Team, Inc. It features vertical mounting slots for compatibility with most poles having a faceplate of at least 6”x6” (drilling may be necessary) and provides adequate rim support to prevent backboard breakage.

The kit's backboard is a 36”x 60” rectangular aluminum unit with a 10-gauge aluminum pan skin, a white powder coat finish, and an official orange shooters square. The standard rim is fabricated from fully welded 3/16” steel backplates and side plates, featuring double 5/8” diameter high strength steel welded in at least six places, all finished in orange powder coat. A net locking system allows for nylon or chain nets, with a nylon net included. The entire system weighs approximately 145#, and its support structure, backboard, and standard rim are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
