The First Team SuperMount01 Advantage Wall Mount Basketball Goal features a 39"x54" fan-shaped backboard constructed from ½" thick tempered glass, complete with an official white shooter's square and border. The backboard is framed with aluminum extrusion, designed to accommodate industry standard 20"x35" fan-shaped mounting, and includes a 5"x5" goal mounting pattern. This system meets all NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations standards.

The goal itself is built with a 5/8" diameter steel ring, maintaining an official 18" inside diameter and featuring a continuous wire netlock attachment. Its breakaway mechanism utilizes a positive lock design that is factory preset, with an automatic return provided by a single spring and a hardened steel ball/detent system to ensure proper breakaway pressure. All components are finished with an official orange powder coating, and a white nylon net along with mounting hardware are provided. The entire system has an approximate shipping weight of 403# and comes with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

The wall mount structure, identified as FT1998, is 100% fully welded from 2" square steel tubing and extends the backboard approximately 12” off the wall. It is designed to secure to three 2"x 8" Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards, which are routed on four sides and covered with a clear coat sealant. Support is further enhanced by two turnbuckles extending down from the top wallboard at roughly a 45-degree angle. The structure is finished with black powder coat paint, utilizing ¼" thick mounting brackets and grade 5 zinc plated hardware.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
