The Premier Douglas® Square Surface Mount Tennis Net Posts eliminate the need for ground sleeves, allowing easy installation on indoor or outdoor concrete court surfaces. Standing 42 in. high with a 3 in. square profile, these posts are built from heavy-duty 11-gauge steel and welded to a thick base plate that secures them directly to the playing surface. A black baked-on polyester powder coat finish provides resistance to rust and increases durability over time.

Each post includes integrated welded steel lacing rods for a professional net installation. The internal winding mechanism features a self-locking gear system with a 30:1 ratio, ensuring smooth and easy net tensioning. Gears are constructed of plated steel with a case-hardened small gear, while gear housings and caps are made of cast aluminum alloy. The flush mounted gear plate cover and removable handle are chrome plated for a clean, finished appearance.

These surface mount posts carry the same construction and hardware features as the standard Premier™ SQ posts, differing only in their heavy-duty welded base plate designed for surface mounting rather than ground sleeve installation. Douglas backs this system with a 5 Year Limited warranty.

5 Year Limited

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use. As an authorized Douglas dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
