The Douglas VBS-4 SQ Outdoor Power Volleyball System is built from 4" square extruded structural aluminum, offering excellent bend resistance and 100% rust-proof performance for outdoor grass or sand court installations. The posts feature a black baked-on polyester powder coat finish for weather protection and chip resistance, with a continuous structured channel design that eliminates external pressure points on the finish.

The system includes a rugged, heavy-duty steel net tensioning reel with a removable handle for safety and convenience, along with the VB-1200 competition net measuring 36" in height and 32' in length. This net is constructed from 3 mm black polyethylene netting in a 4" square mesh, braced with fiberglass dowels, and features a 3,600 lb. break strength top cable and a 2,400 lb. break strength bottom cable, meeting USVBA standards.

Sold per pair, the complete system weighs only 150 lbs., about half the weight of a comparable steel system, and can be installed via direct burial or with optional ground sleeves (GS-24SQ for grass, GS-36SQ for sand) for semi-permanent, removable setups. The system is backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty.

5-Year Limited Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
