The First Team Astro Express competition volleyball system features aluminum uprights with a non-marking footpad and offers infinitely variable net height from 78” to 96”. It includes a 1-meter high black polypropylene net with Kevlar and polypropylene ropes, tensioned by a 26:1 worm gear winch and ratcheting tensioners. The entire system weighs 130 lbs. and meets NCAA, USVBA, NFHS, and FIVB requirements.

The First Team Astro Express Competition Volleyball System features uprights constructed from an external 3 ½” outside diameter, ¼” wall 6063 T-6 aluminum tube and a 3” outside diameter 6061-T6 aluminum telescoping inner pole. A non-marking footpad is fitted to the bottom of the outer tube to prevent floor damage. The system allows for infinitely variable net height adjustment from a minimum of 78” to 96” using a single threaded release knob, with height settings clearly identified on the inner telescoping tube.

The net provided is one meter high, made from black polypropylene 3.5mm knotless woven webbing, and includes a Kevlar top rope and a polypropylene bottom rope. The top, bottom, and sides of the net are finished with white tarpaulin fabric with double stitched hemmed edges. Net tensioning is managed by a 26:1 ratio worm gear winch for the top, a ratcheting style tensioner for the bottom rope, and no less than two ratchet style rope tensioners per end for the side tapes which include internal dowels.

For player safety, top and bottom ropes are covered with no less than ½” thick foam padding with a white vinyl cover. Each standard is padded to a minimum height of 72” with 1 ½” thick high-density foam, covered with vinyl available in customer's choice of 12 school colors. The system includes official boundary antennas and is certified to meet or exceed all NCAA, USVBA, NFHS, and FIVB requirements for competition. The entire Astro Express system weighs 130 lbs., with upright standards carrying a Lifetime Limited Warranty and all other components a 2-Year Limited Warranty.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
