The First Team Sand Stellar Basic Recreational Volleyball System features uprights constructed from 3 Ā½ā x Ā¼ā wall aluminum tubing, which are powdercoated for protection against the elements. The system allows for infinitely variable net height adjustments, from 7ā 11 5/8ā for menās volleyball down to 36ā for tennis, accomplished with a simple turn of adjustment knobs. Height settings are clearly identified on the upright tube.
The net included is one meter high and constructed of black polypropylene 3.5mm knotless woven webbing. It features a Kevlar top rope and a polypropylene bottom rope. The top, bottom, and sides of the net are finished with white tarpaulin fabric and have double stitched hemmed edges. Net tensioning is facilitated by a high tension worm gear driven crank with a non-removeable handle for the top rope, which utilizes a 4ā diameter steel pulley, and a ratcheting style tensioner for the bottom rope.
This system includes FT5035 ground sleeves specifically for sand courts, designed to protrude 34ā below and 2ā above sand level, making them ideal for situations where periodic post removal is desired.
