In short

The Gared 5102 OMNISTEEL is a two-court telescoping volleyball system on 3" O.D. padded steel uprights, supplied with 3" floor sleeves and cover plates. Net height is set by a sliding collar and pin-lock built into the upright and tensioned with a self-locking worm gear winch. The system meets grade school, middle school, YMCA, club, USVBA, NFHS and NCAA requirements for competitive play.

Spike and block yourself to victory with the OMNISTEEL Telescopic System. The 5102 two-court system features 3" telescopic padded steel uprights that keep the net view clear for the referee. The competition net, sideline markers and antennas are set by sliding the collar and pin-lock mechanism integrated into the upright to the athletes' play level and tightening the handled winch, and the 3" floor sleeves and cover plates minimize floor damage while providing optimal stability.

Uprights are high strength 3" O.D. steel of the removable type, designed for below floor sleeves or above floor T-bases, and each is fitted with an adjustable high impact rubber foot that protects finished floors and allows precise net height adjustment for Men's and Women's play. The net cable tensioner uses a heavy duty self-locking worm gear mechanism with a high tensile nylon strap to reach required net tension. The two-court layout uses 5106 winch posts, 5107 end posts and 5108 center posts on 36'-0" spacing.

The net is 32' long and 39" wide in 4" square black nylon mesh with 250-lbs tensile strength, hung free floating on a 1/8" diameter 7 x 19 steel cable rated at 1,760 lbs minimum breaking strength so it centers quickly on the court lines, with a 1" wood dowel, a 2" double stitched vinyl coated polyester hem and Velcro straps. Upright safety pads are single piece 72" units of 1-1/2" cross-linked polyethylene closed cell foam in 14-ounce nylon reinforced vinyl, and antennas are 3/8" fiberglass rods 72" long. A referee stand with optional padding and a storage cart are available.

Warranty

10-Year Uprights / 3-Year Winch, Floor Sleeves and Cover Plates Limited Warranty

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
