The TPT664-XL pairs a regulation 60" wide, 1/2" thick tempered glass backboard with a solid 6" x 6" one-piece 7 ga. square steel post, giving it the size and strength for full court or half court installations. A 48" offset keeps the post clear of the play area beneath the rim.

Height adjusts from 5.5' up to 10' using a spring-assist crank system that carries the weight of the backboard, so cranking up or down stays effortless, with a rim height indicator for precise readings. The breakaway rim and net deliver true gymnasium-quality performance.

Every unit is bolt-down mounted for easy relocation, finished with Weather Shield zinc galvanized undercoating and black powder coat, and assembled with stainless steel bolts. Post and backboard padding are included, and delivery is made via liftgate to ease unloading from the truck.

Lifetime warranty (original owner, non-transferable) covers dunking/hanging damage; excludes vandalism and weathering/UV; paint & padding are 1-year.

Every Ironclad Sports basketball system is backed by the manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what Ironclad's warranty covers:

Lifetime Warranty on the system - covers damage caused by any basketball related activity, including dunking and hanging on the rim.
GameChanger models - warrantied against dunking only.
Coating - all painted items carry a one-year limited warranty on the coating.
Padding - all post and backboard padding carries a one-year limited warranty.
Not covered - damage caused by vandalism, and normal wear and tear from weathering or UV exposure.

Frequently asked questions

How much clearance is needed behind the post if there's a wall?

Ironclad recommends allowing 18" from the back of the post to any wall or obstruction for easy cranking and to avoid knuckle scrapes.

Can I move the hoop if I relocate?

Yes, the bolt-down anchor base lets you disconnect the unit from its concrete footing and move it; a new set of anchor bolts may be needed for re-installation.

What height range does this unit adjust to?

The TPT664-XL adjusts from 5.5' up to 10', with an easy-to-read rim height indicator showing the exact rim height.
