The 39WO Institutional Front-Mount Goal is Gared's best selling, economical, multi-use stationary goal. The ring is official size at 18" diameter and is formed from 5/8" diameter steel, braced with a 7/16" diameter steel rod in all-welded construction. The back plate is 3/16" thick and measures 6 7/16" x 7".

Twelve continuous no-tie net attachments make net installation quick and eliminate tying, and the goal comes complete with a nylon net and hardware in a durable official orange powder coated finish. The universal mounting hole pattern will fit most 42", 48" and fan backboards.

Installation is straightforward: remove the four 3/8" hex bolts, flat washers, lock washers and nuts from the hardware bag, run the bolts through the universal mounting slots in the back plate and the board, check the goal for level, then torque the four 3/8-16 nuts to 15 to 20 ft-lbs and install the net. Gared recommends checking the goal annually for damaged or rusting parts and re-checking bolt torque.

Warranty

1-Year Limited Warranty against defects in material or factory workmanship

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.

What backboards does the 39WO fit?
