The Gared AFRG42LED is a 42" x 72" regulation competition glass basketball backboard with an aluminum frame and an LED Buzzer Beater perimeter light kit (model 2137) built in. It is aimed at gyms and arenas that want a professional end-of-period light presentation on a competition board. The aluminum frame exceeds competitors' aluminum-framed 650 lb pressure breaking point and will not rust.

Provide the optimal professional setting with the AFRG42LED backboard, which includes Gared's 42" x 72" regulation glass backboard with aluminum frame and LED Buzzer Beater perimeter lights. The perimeter lighting gives players, officials and spectators the same visual end-of-period cue used at the professional level.

Exceeding competitors' aluminum-framed board 650 lb pressure breaking point, the AFRG42 backboard leads the industry in strength and relieves the worries of rusting. The board is made in the United States from aluminum and glass and ships at 228 lbs by truck freight.

Per Gared's goal/board matrix the AFRG42 board is designed to work with the 4000+, SNAPB, 3500I, 2500I, 3000, 3500, 2000+, 2500, 1000, 8800 and 5500 goals. Note that the glass is warranted against breaking or shattering only when used with a Direct Goal Attachment provided by Gared, so pair the board with a Gared goal and keep the attachment plate.

Warranty

Lifetime on AFRG42 board (glass only with Direct Goal Attachment); 1 year on 2137 LED light kit

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
