Douglas Guard Rail Pads are wraparound dugout/fence padding built with 1 in. thick high-density polyurethane foam encased in heavy-duty 18 oz vinyl. Douglas Guard Rail Padding is designed to protect players from dangerous ricochets along dugout rails and other field equipment while adding a professional look to any facility. The wraparound pads use a 1 in. thick prime polyurethane high-density foam core (100+ ILD) for consistent cushioning, encased in a heavy-duty 18 oz vinyl shell with UV and weather protection coating for long-term outdoor durability.

Each pad is edged with a 1.5 in. wide perimeter vinyl flap that is double-sewn with high tensile strength thread, and secured with heavy-duty #2 brass grommets spaced every 6 in. Standard pads fit up to a 2 in. diameter pipe, with custom sizes available for other diameters. Pads are sold per linear foot up to a maximum of 10 ft. per piece and are typically installed using UV-protected tie wraps or lacing cord, sold separately.

Guard rail pads are available in nine standard colors and can be customized with UV digital printing for team names or logos, either across the full pad or just the front face. The padding meets NFHS, NCAA, and ASBA requirements and is backed by the Douglas Standard Limited Warranty.

Backed by the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
