Douglas Custom Printed Baseball Dugout Rail Padding is designed to protect players and prevent dangerous ricochets along dugout rails and other field equipment. The pad uses a wraparound construction with a 1 in. thick core of prime polyurethane high-density foam (100+ ILD) for cushioning, encased in 18 oz vinyl with UV and weather protection coating to withstand long-term outdoor exposure.

Each pad is sold per linear foot up to a maximum length of 10' and is manufactured to fit standard 2 in. diameter pipe, with custom diameters available for an additional fee. The perimeter is finished with a 5" wide double-sewn vinyl flap edging, and installation hardware consists of heavy-duty #2 brass grommets spaced every 6 in., typically secured with UV-protected tie wraps or lacing cord sold separately.

The padding is available in standard colors including dark green, black, royal blue, navy, red, maroon, purple, gray, and yellow, and can be customized with vibrant UV digital printing directly on the vinyl for team names or logos, either as a full pad print or front-face only. Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use.
