Douglas® Custom Indoor Padding is institutional-grade wall and column protection made from high-impact polyethylene foam wrapped in 14 oz. flame-resistant vinyl, available in 2, 3, or 4 in. thicknesses. It is custom-sewn to order with double-sewn hems and can be installed with grommets, Velcro, or glue to fit columns, I-beams, posts, or other facility obstacles.

Douglas® Custom Indoor Padding is heavy-duty, institutional-grade protective padding designed to guard against hard-surfaced corners, I-beams, columns, posts, and other obstacles in indoor facilities. It is built from high-impact polyethylene foam wrapped in durable 14 oz. solid vinyl, with no plywood backing, and is offered in 2, 3, or 4 in. thicknesses depending on the application.

The vinyl cover is flame-resistant, antibacterial, antifungal, rot and mildew resistant, and meets standard fire codes including NFPA 701 and the California Fire Marshall requirements. Hems are reinforced and double-sewn for long-term durability, and panels can be installed using grommets, Velcro, or glue depending on the mounting surface.

This padding is custom made to order, with standard colors including Dark Green, Kelly Green, Black, Royal Blue, Navy, Champion Blue, Light Blue, Red, Maroon, Purple, Yellow, Orange, White, Gray, and Beige, plus additional colors available upon request. It is well suited for school gyms, indoor sports facilities, wrestling rooms, daycares, and home sports courts. Because each order is custom-made, lead times vary and orders are not returnable.

Warranty

Douglas Industries, Inc. (Eldridge, Iowa) backs its equipment with the Douglas® Standard Limited Warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Douglas warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – gooseneck basketball posts with 6' extension.
25 years – gooseneck basketball posts with 4' extension.
10 years – gooseneck posts with 3' extension; pro-rated structural warranty on Bakko and steel/aluminum backboards (1 year on the Imron® finish); selected post and net systems.
7 years – Douglas® MAX batting tunnel frames (with proper installation and normal use).
5 years – standard Douglas® batting tunnel frames, most tennis / volleyball / pickleball post systems and Premier™ posts; 5-year fade warranty on Sunbrella® canvas.
4 years – VCP MAX windscreen mesh, #420 knotless pylon netting and other netting lines; fabrics are warranted pro-rata for 3–4 years against material defects and poor workmanship.
3 years – selected fabric and netting products.
2 years – selected hardware and padding.
1 year – accessories, replacement parts and paint / finish coverage.

Digital printing on windscreen and vinyl products carries the same warranty as the underlying windscreen or vinyl material.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations, abuse or misuse, normal wear, and damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning or leaving products outdoors beyond their intended seasonal use. As an authorized Douglas dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
