The Gared 266 Rear-Mount Super Goal is an affordable, durable basketball rim built for park and recreation applications. It features an official 18" double ring with a 5/8" top ring and 1/2" bottom ring, reinforced by dual 5/8" x 15" bracing for added strength under heavy playground use.

A no-tie continuous ring net attachment simplifies net installation, and the goal includes a GGN nylon net along with all necessary mounting hardware. The 6 1/2" x 7" universal back plate is designed to fit most fan-shaped reverse-mount backboards, including Gared models 1266 and 1266B.

Constructed from steel with a durable orange powder coat finish, the 266 goal is factory-set to deflect at 90 lbs and meets NCAA (except Division I) and NFSHSA specifications, making it suitable for schools, parks, and recreational facilities.

Warranty

2-year warranty on Model 266 against defects in material or factory workmanship from date of installation/completion.

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
