The Brute Intensity Basketball System is built with a robust 5 9/16” O.D. Schedule 40 galvanized tubing vertical pole, designed for a 48” ground bury and a 72” setback from the post to the backboard. Its innovative design ensures the rim mounts directly through the backboard into the horizontal extension, effectively eliminating backboard stress during play. The backboard attachment is telescoping, offering up to a 78” extension if desired, and is further supported by two 1” round tubular braces connecting directly to the pole.

The system's backboard is a 42”x72” rectangular aluminum unit, featuring a 10 gauge skin and a ¼” rear support strap structure. It is finished with a white powder coat and includes 3/8” punched holes across its face, excluding a 2” border and the shooters square area. Manufactured in the USA, the backboard is compatible with rims featuring a 5”x5” hole pattern. The standard rim is constructed from double 5/8” diameter high strength steel, reinforced with 3/16” fully welded backplates and sideplates, and finished in an orange powder coat. Net attachment is via a continuous netlocking system made of 3/16”x 1” steel, accommodating both nylon and chain nets, with a nylon net included.

Lifetime Unconditional Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
