The First Team Champ Turbo Basketball System features a one-piece 4” square vertical pole with a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness, designed for 36” burial in concrete. This pole includes a watertight vinyl cap. Adjustable extension arms, constructed of 1 1/2” x 1 1/2” tubing, provide a minimum 18” extension from the front of the post to the backboard face, with the rim at 10’ playing height. The rim height can be adjusted in six-inch increments from 10’ down to 7 1/2 ’, utilizing an adjustment mechanism released by a pole or broom handle and assisted by two springs.

The backboard is constructed of 1/4” thick clear tempered glass, featuring bright white ceramic markings fired into the glass. Its framework consists of clear anodized aluminum “L” type extrusions. The overall backboard size is approximately 54” wide and 36” high.

An institutional quality flexible rim absorbs player contact, with spring action provided by a heavy duty compression wire spring and an enclosed internal mechanism. Structural components are built of no less than 3/16” steel, including an official 5/8” diameter high strength steel ring supported by a 3/16” brace covering 60% of the ring. The rim is punched to mount either a 3”x 4” or 5”x 5” hole pattern and has an orange powdercoated finish. The entire system weighs approximately 170#, and the pole, backboard, and standard rim carry a Lifetime Superior Warranty.

Lifetime Superior Warranty - residential use only (pole, backboard, and standard rim)

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
