All backplate components are made from 3/16" thick steel, and the mounting plate is punched to fit 5"x 5" and 5"x4" patterns. The rim support brace is 1/4" x 1 1/2" steel, offering continuous support around 50% of the ring.
This goal incorporates a positive lock breakaway mechanism, factory preset, with dual return springs that cushion the breakaway action and provide automatic return.
