In short

The First Team HydroSport II Basketball System features a one-piece 4” square stainless steel pole with an 11 gauge wall thickness and a 24” extension arm. It includes a 3/8” thick acrylic backboard measuring approximately 48” wide by 36” high, supported by clear anodized aluminum framing. The system is equipped with a flexible, institutional-quality rim with an 18” I.D. opening and a heavy-duty nylon net, and the pole, backboard, and standard rim carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

The First Team HydroSport II Basketball System is designed with durability in mind, featuring a one-piece 4” square stainless steel vertical pole with a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness. The pole is powdercoated black and includes a 3/8” thick baseplate with four support gussets for installation via an anchoring system, complete with 5/8” diameter stainless steel anchor bolts and a black ABS finishing cover. A 2”x3” rectangular 11 gauge wall steel extension arm provides a 24” extension from the pole to the backboard and is secured to the vertical post by two 4” zinc plated U-bolts.

The backboard is constructed from 3/8” thick acrylic with bright white screening and measures approximately 48” wide and 36” high, framed by clear anodized aluminum 'L' type extrusions. Its upper corners are supported by two 1” round backboard braces. The flexible, institutional-quality rim has an official 5/8” diameter ring with a standard 18” I.D. opening, pre-plated with yellow zinc and finished with an orange powder coating. A heavy-duty nylon net is included with the rim, which is designed to allow rim bolts to pass directly through the backboard into the extension arm for enhanced strength and player safety.

The entire HydroSport II system weighs approximately 150#. A Lifetime Limited Warranty covers the pole, backboard, and standard rim components.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
