The HydroSport III vertical pole is constructed from one-piece 4" square stainless steel with minimum 11 gauge wall thickness, featuring a watertight vinyl cap and powdercoated black finish. The unit is anchored via a 3/8" thick baseplate with 4 welded support gussets and includes 5/8" diameter stainless steel anchor bolts with black ABS covers.

The extension arm extends 24" from the pole face and is built from 2"×3" rectangular 11 gauge steel tubing at a 45-degree angle, secured by two 4" zinc-plated U-bolts with additional 1" round braces supporting the backboard's upper corners. This design allows rim bolts to pass through the backboard directly into the extension arm for strength and safety.

The backboard measures approximately 54" wide by 36" high and is constructed of 1/2" thick acrylic with bright white screening and clear anodized aluminum frame extrusions. The flexible institutional-quality rim features a 5/8" diameter official ring with 18" I.D., yellow zinc plating for corrosion protection, orange powder-coated finish, and heavy-duty nylon net.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
