The Jam III features a one-piece 4" square vertical pole with minimum 11 gauge wall thickness designed to be buried 36" in concrete, with a watertight vinyl cap for moisture protection. The adjustable dual 2"x2" tubing extension arms provide a minimum 24" overhang from post to backboard face at 10' playing height and include two springs to minimize adjustment effort.

Height adjustment is infinitely variable from 10' down to 7' via a crank cylinder rated for minimum 2000# capacity. An easy-to-read label displays current rim height. The rim mounts directly to the extension arm through the backboard to reduce backboard stress.

The backboard is constructed of 1/2" thick acrylic with bright white screening supported by a clear anodized aluminum L-type framework, measuring approximately 54" wide by 36" high. The institutional-quality rim features a 5/8" high strength steel ring with heavy-duty compression wire spring action, a 3/16" brace supporting 60% of the ring, and an orange powdercoated finish. The entire system weighs approximately 205# and carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty on pole, backboard, and rim.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
