The Legacy Turbo Basketball System is constructed with a durable one-piece 4” square vertical pole featuring a minimum 11 gauge wall thickness, engineered to be buried 36” in concrete for stability. The main 45 degree extension arm, made from 4”x4” rectangular 11 gauge steel tubing, provides a 36” extension from the pole to the backboard and is secured with two 4” zinc plated U-bolts. All steel pole components are welded using a maximum penetration, continuous weld, MIG procedure and finished with a polyester powder-coated black.

The system's backboard is crafted from 1/4” thick clear tempered glass, featuring bright white ceramic markings fired into the glass, and has an overall size of approximately 54” wide and 36” high. Its framework consists of clear anodized aluminum “L” type extrusions, complemented by an H-Frame for additional support. The flexible, institutional-quality rim is designed to absorb player contact stress, incorporating a heavy-duty compression wire spring and a steel coverplate for internal mechanisms. Structural rim components are built from no less than 3/16” steel, supporting an official 5/8” diameter high strength steel ring with a 3/16” brace supporting 60% of the ring, and finished with an orange powder-coat.

The entire Legacy Turbo Basketball System weighs approximately 205#. The pole, backboard, and standard rim are covered by a Lifetime Superior Warranty, applicable for residential use only.

Lifetime Superior Warranty - residential use only (pole, backboard, and standard rim)

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
