The Renegade Flight Basketball System features a vertical pole constructed of 4 ½" O.D. RS40 zinc flow coated steel tubing with a 7 ga. wall thickness. It is designed for a 48" bury into the ground and provides a 48" setback from the post to the backboard. Two 1" round galvanized tubular braces support the top corners of the backboard, connecting directly to the pole. The rim height is adjustable by clamping the 4 ½" diameter extension arm at the desired height on the vertical post, with the rim mounting directly through the backboard into the horizontal extension to eliminate backboard stress.

The system's backboard is 39"x 54" fan-shaped fiberglass, with a 1 5/8" thickness. It is constructed with front and back fiberglass composite laminates and a solid inner core of high density pressed wood. The front of the board is marked with a gel-coat 2" border and an official shooters square.

The standard rim is fabricated from 3/16" backplates and sideplates, fully welded, and is made of double 5/8" diameter, high strength steel welded together at a minimum of six places. Nets are attached by a continuous netlocking system of 3/16"x 1" steel with punched slots, accommodating either nylon or chain nets, with a nylon net included. The entire rim is powdercoated orange. Other rims, including outdoor breakaway rims, are also available. The pole, backboard, and standard rim carry a 20-Year Limited Warranty, and the entire system weighs approximately 245#.

20-Year Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
