The Renegade Max Basketball System is built with a robust vertical pole constructed from 4 ½" O.D. RS40 zinc flow coated steel tubing, featuring a 7 ga. wall thickness. This pole is designed for a 48" bury into the ground, ensuring stability, and provides a 48" setback from the post to the backboard. The system's height is adjustable, allowing the rim to be set at a desired height on the vertical post by clamping a 4 ½" diameter extension arm. Additionally, the design incorporates two 1" round powdercoated tubular braces that support the backboard's top corners and connect directly to the pole.

The backboard is made of cast aluminum, presenting a 36"x 54" fan-shaped playing surface. It is powdercoated white and marked with an official size orange shooters square. All brace mounting holes are threaded to accept 3/8" attachment bolts, and the backboard accommodates rims with a 5"x 5" hole pattern. Notably, the backboard is manufactured in the U.S.A. The standard rim is fabricated from 3/16" backplates and sideplates, fully welded, and consists of double 5/8" diameter high strength steel welded together at a minimum of six places. The entire rim is powdercoated orange and includes a nylon net, which attaches via a continuous netlocking system made of 3/16"x 1" steel with punched slots, compatible with both nylon or chain nets. The pole system is designed for the rim to mount directly through the backboard into the horizontal extension to eliminate backboard stress during play.

The entire system weighs approximately 245 pounds. The pole, backboard, and standard rim are covered by a 20-Year Limited Warranty.

Pole, backboard, and standard rim shall carry a 20-Year Limited Warranty.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
