The First Team Renegade Playground Basketball System features a robust vertical pole constructed of 4 ½" O.D. RS40 zinc flow coated steel tubing with a 7 ga. wall thickness. This design allows for a 48" bury into the ground, providing stability, and a 48" setback from the post to the backboard. Rim height is adjustable by clamping the 4 ½" diameter extension arm at the desired height on the vertical post. The pole design also ensures the rim mounts directly through the backboard into the horizontal extension to eliminate backboard stress during play.

The system includes a durable 42"x 60" rectangular steel backboard. Its skin is made from 10 gauge steel with ¼" thick vertical struts for enhanced strength. The backboard is finished with a white powdercoat and features an official orange shooters square. Top corners of the backboard are supported by two 1" round galvanized tubular braces that connect directly to the pole.

The standard rim is fabricated from 3/16" backplates and sideplates, fully welded, and constructed from double 5/8" diameter high strength steel, welded together at a minimum of six places. The entire rim is powdercoated orange. Net attachment is facilitated by a continuous netlocking system made of 3/16"x 1" steel with punched slots, compatible with both nylon and chain nets, and a nylon net is included. The entire system has an approximate weight of 315# and carries a 20-Year Limited Warranty covering the pole, backboard, and standard rim. This product is Made in USA.

20-Year Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
