The First Team Renegade Select Basketball System features a 4 ½" O.D. RS40 zinc flow coated steel pole designed for a 48" ground bury and a 48" setback. It includes a 36"x 60" rectangular 1/2" thick acrylic backboard with an anodized aluminum frame. The flexible, institutional quality rim has a 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring and an orange powdercoated finish. The entire system carries a 20-Year Limited Warranty on the pole, backboard, and standard rim, and weighs approximately 250#.

The First Team Renegade Select Basketball System is built with a vertical post constructed of 4 ½" O.D. RS40 zinc flow coated steel tubing, featuring a 7 gauge wall thickness. The design allows for a 48" bury into the ground and provides a 48" setback from the pole to the backboard. Two 1" round galvanized tubular braces support the top corners of the backboard and connect directly to the pole. The rim height is adjustable by clamping a 4 ½" diameter extension arm at the desired height on the vertical post, with the rim mounting directly through the backboard into the horizontal extension to eliminate backboard stress.

The backboard is a 36"x 60" rectangular acrylic board, 1/2" thick, framed with a 1/8" thick anodized aluminum framework. It features a bright white 2" border and an official shooters square screened on the backside. The standard rim is of a flexible, institutional quality type, designed to absorb player contact with spring action provided by a heavy duty compression wire spring. Its structural components are built of no less than 3/16" steel, and it features an official 5/8" diameter high strength steel ring supported by a 3/16" brace, finished with an orange powdercoating. The rim is punched to mount either a 3"x 4" or 5"x 5" hole pattern.

The entire system weight is approximately 250 pounds. The pole, backboard, and standard rim carry a 20-Year Limited Warranty.

Warranty

Pole, backboard, and standard rim shall carry a 20-Year Limited Warranty.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
