The Storm Pro Portable Basketball System is constructed for durability and performance, featuring heavy gauge steel for its vertical uprights (2”x 5” rectangular tubing) and extension boom (4”x 4” square tubing with a 3”x 3” inner telescoping “slide boom”). The base is all steel, primarily 3” x 1 ½” rectangular steel tubing, measuring 48” across the front for maximum stability. The backboard is 3/8” thick tempered glass, approximately 60” wide and 36” high, supported by clear anodized aluminum framing. The institutional-quality flexible rim has an official 5/8” diameter ring with an 18” I.D. opening, designed for “dunking” action without compromising structural integrity. The entire unit is covered with a black powdercoat finish, with the rim having an orange powder coated finish.

This portable basketball system offers convenient one-person operation for setup, adjustment, and transport. Rim height is adjustable in six-inch increments from a regulation 10’ height down to 6’ via a removable adjustment pin, powered by a Spring-Assist system. For portability, the unit rides on four large 8” non-marking wheels, with the front two wheels featuring self-locking castors (swivel lock & roll lock). The integrated ballast box is designed to accept (24) 4”x 8”x 16” solid cement blocks, totaling 720 lbs. of ballast. Standard 2” thick foam padding (1 ½” for side and ballast box pads) is mounted on 7/16” wafer board, covered with a 14 oz reinforced vinyl laminate, and secured with 2” velcro attachment straps, designed to remain on the unit during folding, adjustment, transportation, or storage. Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
