The First Team Thunder Pro Portable Basketball Goal features a 3/8" thick tempered glass backboard, approximately 60" wide by 36" high, supported by clear anodized aluminum "F" type extrusions and two tubular braces. The system includes a flexible, institutional quality rim with an official 5/8" diameter ring and 18" I.D. opening, finished in orange powder coat. The horizontal extension arm provides a minimum 48" setback from the backboard to the base and allows for direct rim mounting, eliminating backboard stress.

Height adjustment from 6'6" to 10' is infinitely adjustable via an "EZ-Crank" worm-gear box. The all-steel base measures 48" across the front for stability and is designed to accept 23 solid cement blocks, totaling 690 lbs. of ballast. For mobility, the unit rides on six 4" non-marking wheels, with front wheels lowered or retracted using a crank handle for one-person portability and positioning.

The system is equipped with 2" thick foam padding for the base and upright, covered with a 14 oz reinforced vinyl laminate. All external surfaces feature a powdercoat black finish, while the inner telescoping member is zinc plated silver. The entire system has an approximate weight of 855# and is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
