The First Team Titan Intensity In Ground Adjustable Basketball Goal is built with a robust 6" square steel vertical pole featuring a 3/16" wall thickness and a black powdercoat finish. The pole is installed via an anchoring system, supported by a 3/8" thick baseplate and four support gussets. The main extension arm uses dual 2" x 4" (11 ga.) tubing, providing a minimum 48" extension from the front of the post to the backboard face.

Height adjustment is infinite, ranging from 10' down to 5 1/2', operated by a crank cylinder with a minimum 11,000# capacity, positioned no higher than 4' from ground level. This mechanism includes an optional locking device and a spring-loaded backup safety device, with an easy-to-read height adjustment label. The system features a 42"x72" rectangular aluminum backboard, manufactured in the USA, with a 10 gauge skin and 1/4" rear support structure, finished with a white powder coat.

The standard rim is constructed from double 5/8" high strength steel, with 3/16" fully welded backplates and sideplates, powdercoated orange. A continuous netlocking system made of 3/16"x 1" steel accepts both nylon (included) or chain nets. The rim mounts directly to the extension arm through the backboard to reduce stress. The entire system weighs approximately 550# and is covered by a Lifetime Superior Warranty for the pole, backboard, and standard rim.

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
