The First Team Tyrant Supreme Fixed Height Basketball Goal is designed for durability and stability. Its vertical pole is constructed from 6 5/8” O.D. Schedule 40 galvanized tubing, engineered for a 48” ground bury and offering a 72” setback from the post to the backboard. The backboard attachment is telescoping, allowing for up to a 78” extension, and is supported by two 1” round tubular braces connecting to the pole. An H-Frame structure, made of 1 ½” square x 11 gauge tubing, further enhances stability, featuring a 3/16” thick faceplate through which the rim bolts pass, eliminating backboard stress during play.

The system's backboard measures 42”x 72” rectangular and is made of 1/2” thick clear acrylic. It is framed in competition grade anodized aluminum and includes bright white 2” border and official size shooters square screen-printed on the backside. The flexible rim is of institutional quality, designed to absorb player contact with spring action provided by a heavy duty compression wire spring. Its structural components are no less than 3/16” steel, featuring an official 5/8” diameter high strength steel ring, supported by a 3/16” brace for 60% of the ring, and finished with an orange powdercoating.

This basketball goal system has an approximate total weight of 540#. For peace of mind, the pole, backboard, and standard rim are all covered by a Lifetime Unconditional Warranty.

Lifetime Unconditional Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
