The First Team VersiChamp Nitro is a wall-mounted basketball goal system designed for permanent installation on support walls. The FT1992 VERSISTRUT wall bracket is constructed of fully welded 0.25" thick steel with Grade 5 zinc-plated hardware and black powder coat finish. Installation requires mounting to three 2" x 8" Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards that are routed on all sides and sealed with clear coat, with two 45-degree turnbuckles providing structural support.

The system features adjustable 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" tubing extension arms that position the rim at a minimum 18" from the post face to backboard. Height adjustment is accomplished in six-inch increments from 10 feet down to 7 1/2 feet using a pole or broom handle to release the adjustment mechanism, with a spring-mounted counterweight system to reduce operator effort. The rim mounts directly through the backboard to the extension arm, minimizing backboard stress.

The backboard measures approximately 60" wide by 36" high and is constructed of 1/4" clear tempered glass with bright white ceramic markings. The institutional-quality rim features a 5/8" diameter high-strength steel ring with a 3/16" supporting brace, flexible spring action via compression wire spring, and orange powder coat finish. The complete system weighs approximately 315# and includes a Lifetime Limited Warranty on the strut, backboard, and standard rim.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
