The First Team VersiSport II wall mount basketball system is built around the FT1992 VersiStrut, a 100% fully welded wall bracket made of .25" thick steel, finished in black powder coat paint and secured to (3) 2"x8" Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards that are routed on four sides and clear coat sealed. Two turnbuckles extend down from the top wallboard at roughly a 45 degree angle to support the steel structure, and all hardware is grade 5 zinc plated.

The main 45 degree extension arm is constructed of 2"x3" rectangular 11 gauge wall steel tubing, providing a 24" extension from the front of the pole to the face of the backboard. It is secured to the vertical post with two 4" zinc plated U-bolts, with rim bolts passing through the backboard directly into the extension arm for strength and safety, and two 1" round backboard braces supporting the upper corners of the backboard.

The backboard measures approximately 48" wide by 36" high, made of 3/8" thick acrylic with bright white screening and a clear anodized aluminum "L" type extrusion frame. The rim is a flexible, institutional quality model with an official 5/8" diameter ring and standard 18" I.D. opening, finished in orange powder coat, paired with a heavy-duty nylon net. The overall system weighs approximately 265 lbs, with the strut, backboard, and standard rim covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
