The First Team WallMonster Excel is a wall-mounted basketball system featuring all-welded ¼" thick steel construction secured to three Dense Southern Yellow Pine wallboards (2"x 8" each, routed and sealed) with two 45-degree turnbuckle supports. The mounting structure provides a sturdy foundation for the entire adjustable system.

The extension arms are constructed from dual 2"x 2" tubing with a built-in height adjustment crank cylinder and four springs to ease manual height adjustment. The rim mounts directly through the backboard to the extension arm, reducing backboard stress. Height is infinitely adjustable from 10' down to 7½' with optional 48" or 36" offset installations, with a removable crank handle and easy-to-read height label.

The 42"x 72" rectangular steel backboard features 11-gauge steel skin with ¼" thick vertical struts and white powder coat finish with an official orange shooters square. The rim is constructed of welded 3/16" backplates and side plates in 5/8" diameter high-strength steel (welded at minimum six places, powder-coated orange), with a continuous net-locking system accommodating nylon or chain nets (nylon included). The structure, backboard, and standard rim carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty, and the system weighs approximately 475 pounds.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every First Team product is backed by First Team's warranty program. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what First Team's warranty tiers cover:

Limited Warranty - covers damage during normal, intended use. Excludes vandalism and deliberate damage. Normal wear from weathering or UV exposure is not covered; all painted items carry a 1-year limited warranty on coating.
Superior Warranty - additionally covers any damage or failure caused by basketball activity or contact with the unit, including deliberate hanging on the rim. Vandalism excluded.
Unconditional Warranty - the broadest tier: covers any damage or failure that occurs for any reason.
Manufacturer's Defect - all products are warranted against manufacturer's defects at delivery.

Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable; coverage ends on resale or transfer. Residential-only products are not covered for non-residential use.
