The PK3530 is Gared's economy gooseneck basketball package for playgrounds, parks and school blacktops. The braced 3-1/2" O.D. gooseneck post places the backboard 36" back from the base, giving players a 36" safe play area under the goal.

Everything needed for a complete outdoor court station is supplied as one catalog package: the GNA35 gooseneck post, the BB48A38 36" x 48" acrylic backboard, a 726 double breakaway rim, and the AAB35-12-BB60 brace together with brace kits 15G353946 and 15B603949. Because the components are matched at the factory, there is no guesswork in pairing board, goal and brace hardware.

The system ships by truck at 266 lbs (120.66 kg) in a 37" x 3" x 48" carton, shipping class 70. Installation and assembly instructions are supplied with the unit; Gared specifies that only authorized, properly trained personnel should install or adjust the extension arm, backboard or goal, and recommends a preventative maintenance inspection at least once per year.

Warranty

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
