In short

The Gared GP205S60 Endurance Dual Steel Playground Basketball System mounts two goals on one in-ground post: a 6" square steel post carries a 60" extension arm on each side, each holding a 42" x 72" 1260B marked steel backboard and an 8550 Endurance fixed rim. Post and arms are hot dip galvanized and powder coated black and carry a lifetime warranty. Padding and the concrete foundation are not included.

The GP200 series Endurance dual system uses a single main post with an extension arm on each side, connected with 3/4" diameter bolts, so two playing stations share one foundation. The post is 6" square with 1/4" wall ASTM A500 Gr.B tubing and each extension arm is a triangular design built from tubing welded to a heavy plate and clamped to the post with four 3/4" diameter U-bolts. Galvanized and powder coated braces run from the upper backboard mounting points to the vertical post and extension arm for added rigidity.

All steel parts are hot dip galvanized and then powder coated black for extended corrosion protection, and hardware is zinc plated. This GP205S60 configuration pairs 60" extension arms with two 1260B marked steel backboards measuring 42" x 72" and two model 8550 Endurance fixed goals. Rim height is set at 10'-0", making it a hard-wearing choice for parks and school playgrounds where steel boards outlast glass.

The concrete foundation is supplied by others. The minimum shown on the drawing is 1067 mm deep by 762 mm in diameter and should be reviewed against local wind loads and soil conditions. Padding is not included; PP6SQF fitted and PP6WR wrap-around pole pads are available for the 6" square post.

Warranty

Lifetime Warranty on post components (in-ground post, extension arm, bracing)

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.

What is the difference between the GP205S60 and GP205G60?

Both use the same 6" square post and 60" extension arms. The GP205S60 ships with two 1260B steel backboards and 8550 Endurance fixed goals, while the GP205G60 uses two BB60G38 glass boards with 8800 Endurance breakaway goals.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

It applies to the GP200 series double board Endurance system post components only, which include the in-ground post, extension arm and bracing.

Is a concrete foundation included?

No. Concrete is supplied by others. The drawing shows a minimum of 1067 mm deep by 762 mm diameter, and the size should be reviewed for local wind loads and soil conditions.
