The Gared GP104S60 is an in-ground Endurance(R) playground basketball system with a 6" square steel post and a 4' safe play area. It ships as a package with the post, extension arm, two board braces, a 42" x 60" marked steel backboard (1260B) and an 8550 Endurance fixed double rim. It is built for outdoor courts at schools, parks and playgrounds; padding is not included with the unit.

The GP104S60 pairs a 6" square steel post with a 4' safe play area, a 42" x 60" marked steel backboard (1260B) and an 8550 Endurance fixed double rim, so the court can take hard outdoor play without the backboard sitting over the baseline.

Gared's package component list for this model calls out post 9-72-0001, extension arm 502001, board 1260B, goal 8550, brace 9-72-4STB and brace kit 153453939, so replacement parts can be ordered by number. Do not substitute for factory parts - contact Gared customer service to confirm whether a substitute part is acceptable.

Assembly and set-up should be performed by an individual who has been properly trained, and no one under the age of 18 should attempt it unless properly supervised. To keep normal wear from shortening the life of the unit, preventative maintenance inspections and repairs should be performed at least once per year, more often under high or unusual usage. The Endurance system carries a lifetime warranty on the post, extension arm and bracing.

Warranty

Lifetime Warranty on post components (in-ground post, extension arm, bracing)

Gared Holdings LLC warrants its equipment against defects in material or factory workmanship. Coverage length depends on the product line — this model carries the warranty noted above where listed. Gared's warranty periods run as follows:

Lifetime - Endurance playground systems: in-ground post, extension arm and bracing components.
25 years - Standard Duty and Heavy Duty playground posts (braced gooseneck and adjustable straight post structures).
10 years - volleyball uprights on OmniSteel, OmniLite, RallyLine and GoCourt systems, and economy playground posts.
5 years - FGP series football goalposts, manual and electric winches, curtain hoists and the SafStop gymnasium structure.
4 years - 2500 / 2500I Tournament breakaway goals.
3 years - winch assemblies, floor sleeves and cover plates, and regulation volleyball nets.
2 years - portable winch winders and selected backboards.
1 year - nets, padding, base adapters, height adjusters, badminton and tetherball systems, referee stands and accessories.

The warranty period starts on the date of substantial completion (installation). Defects must be reported to Gared in writing during the warranty period with proof of purchase and the purchase or installation date; Gared will repair or replace the defective equipment at its discretion, with shipping, insurance and installation costs borne by the owner.

Not covered: improper installation, use other than intended, unauthorized alterations or modifications, abuse or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, wind or lightning. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. As an authorized Gared dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
