Gared Micro-Z Recreational Indoor Portable Basketball Hoop

The MICRO-Z rolls where it is needed and stores out of the way, which makes it a practical second goal for side-court practice, recreation programs and mixed-age play. Height is adjusted from 7' up to regulation 10' using the zinc-plated inner post, which is spring loaded so one trained person can make the change.

The base is fabricated from 14-gauge sheet steel with a durable powder coat finish, and the support post is heavy-wall 3-1/2" square tubing. Boom extension is 4'-2". The front of the unit is padded with 1" polyurethane foam covered by 14-ounce vinyl.

Each unit rolls on 6" diameter rear wheels and 4" diameter swivel casters at the front, all with polyurethane surfaces. Ballast is required for play but is not shipped with the goal; patio blocks are the preferred material. Gared recommends preventative maintenance inspections at least once per year, and warns not to remove the safety bolt before the backboard and goal are installed.
