The TPT885-XXL is Ironclad's largest Triple Threat system, designed for players planning a regulation full court or half court setup. It pairs an 8" x 8" one-piece 7 gauge square post with a regulation-size 42" x 72" backboard made of 1/2" tempered glass, offering the same size backboard used in professional play.

The post sits on a 5' overhang (60" offset) from the backboard, giving ample room for play underneath the rim while keeping the post 12" off the court to help avoid contact. Height adjusts from 5.5' up to 10' using a spring-assist crank system, with an easy-to-read rim height indicator.

The unit includes a breakaway rim and net, post and backboard padding, and is protected with Ironclad's Weather Shield process (zinc galvanized undercoat plus black powder coat). It uses a bolt-down anchor design for straightforward installation or future relocation, and is delivered via liftgate.

Every Ironclad Sports basketball system is backed by the manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what Ironclad's warranty covers:

Lifetime Warranty on the system - covers damage caused by any basketball related activity, including dunking and hanging on the rim.
GameChanger models - warrantied against dunking only.
Coating - all painted items carry a one-year limited warranty on the coating.
Padding - all post and backboard padding carries a one-year limited warranty.
Not covered - damage caused by vandalism, and normal wear and tear from weathering or UV exposure.

How much space should I leave behind the post if there's a wall?

Ironclad recommends leaving 18" of clearance from the back of the post to any wall or obstruction for easy cranking.

Can I move this hoop if I relocate?

Yes, the bolt-down anchor base lets you disconnect the unit from its concrete footing and reinstall it elsewhere with a new set of anchor bolts.

What height range does the TPT885-XXL adjust to?

The system adjusts from 5.5' up to 10' using a spring-assist crank that carries the backboard's weight.
