The GC66-XXL pairs a one-piece 11 ga. 6"x6" square steel post with a 42" x 72" x 5/16" tempered glass backboard, matching the dimensions used in high school, college, and professional play. The 3' overhang keeps the post clear of the play area for post moves and rebounding.

Height is adjusted from 7.5' to 10' using an all-steel crank actuator, with a rim height indicator for quick reference. A professional-quality breakaway rim and net are included, along with post padding and pre-installed backboard padding for added safety.

The system anchors to a concrete footing with a bolt-down mounting design, which lets owners level the unit or disconnect and relocate it if they move. The unit is finished in black powder coat over zinc plated hardware and ships via liftgate delivery.

Every Ironclad Sports basketball system is backed by the manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what Ironclad's warranty covers:

Lifetime Warranty on the system - covers damage caused by any basketball related activity, including dunking and hanging on the rim.
GameChanger models - warrantied against dunking only.
Coating - all painted items carry a one-year limited warranty on the coating.
Padding - all post and backboard padding carries a one-year limited warranty.
Not covered - damage caused by vandalism, and normal wear and tear from weathering or UV exposure.

Frequently asked questions

How much space should I leave behind the unit if there's a wall?

Allow 18" from the back of the post to any wall or obstruction for easy cranking.

Can I move the hoop if I relocate?

Yes, the bolt-down anchor base lets you disconnect it from the concrete footing and reinstall it elsewhere with a new set of anchor bolts.

Is padding included with the system?

Yes, post padding and pre-installed backboard padding are included in the price.
