The TPT554-LG is a Triple Threat series adjustable basketball system designed for backyard courts, featuring a 60" x 36" x 1/2" tempered glass backboard for consistent ball bounce and a one-piece 7 gauge, 5" square steel post for rigidity under heavy play.

The system offers a 48" offset from backboard to post, giving players room to move under the basket, and adjusts from 5.5' up to 10' using a spring-assist crank mechanism, with a rim height indicator for precise settings.

Included in the package are a breakaway rim and net, post and backboard padding, and stainless steel assembly bolts. The unit uses a bolt-down anchor design for easy installation or relocation, and is protected by Weather Shield zinc galvanized undercoating with black powder coat finish. Delivery is made via liftgate truck.

Every Ironclad Sports basketball system is backed by the manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty. This model carries the warranty noted above. Here is what Ironclad's warranty covers:

Lifetime Warranty on the system - covers damage caused by any basketball related activity, including dunking and hanging on the rim.
GameChanger models - warrantied against dunking only.
Coating - all painted items carry a one-year limited warranty on the coating.
Padding - all post and backboard padding carries a one-year limited warranty.
Not covered - damage caused by vandalism, and normal wear and tear from weathering or UV exposure.

Frequently asked questions

How much clearance is needed behind the unit if there's a wall?

Ironclad recommends allowing 18" of distance from the back of the post to any wall or obstruction for ease of cranking.

Can I move this hoop if I relocate?

Yes, the bolt-down anchor base allows the unit to be disconnected from its concrete footing and moved; new anchor bolts may be needed for reinstallation.

What is included with the TPT554-LG?

The unit includes the tempered glass backboard, breakaway rim and net, post and backboard padding, and stainless steel assembly bolts.
