In short

The Jaypro N24GB is a stationary wall mounted basketball backstop for a face of bank of 2' to 4' off the wall. It is supplied as a complete kit with a GBRUB-42 42" x 72" glass backboard, a GBA-642 Revolution breakaway goal, the 1310-24-FRAME frame kit with four 41" HBAR-41 horizontal pipes, wall mount hardware and a southern yellow pine wood stringer kit. It suits gymnasiums and practice courts with solid masonry walls where the board must sit close to the wall.

The N24GB kit covers face of bank distances from 2'-0" to 4'-0". Four HBAR-41 horizontal frame pipes are supplied 41" long and are cut and drilled in the field to the exact offset; the installation tables give the frame pipe length and stringer locations for each face of bank in one-inch steps, in both direct attached and height adjuster configurations.

The unit is supported by two 1/4" GRD 43 zinc plated safety chains 48" long, terminated with a 3/8 forged galvanized shackle and a 1/2-13 jaw-jaw galvanized turnbuckle for adjustment. Chain supports must always sit at 45 degrees or greater, and the manual illustrates attachment to the bottom board attachments as the preferred method.

Frame and chains land on southern yellow pine wood stringers: WOOD-KT1 supplies three WH-66 stringers at 7-1/2" x 92" for horizontal mounting, while WOOD-KT2 supplies two WP18 and two WP36 stringers for vertical mounting. Wall anchors are not supplied by Jaypro; the installer selects anchors of at least 1/2" diameter to suit the wall, and the wall must be brick, concrete or other solid or semi-solid masonry. Installation should only be attempted by qualified, properly trained installers.

Warranty

Jaypro Sports (Waterford, Connecticut) warrants its equipment against defects in material and workmanship from the date of shipment. Coverage length depends on the product line — where a specific period is listed above, that period applies to this model. Jaypro warranty periods run as follows:

Limited Lifetime – glass basketball backboards (GBAFR-48, GBRUB-42, GBRUB-54) against breaks and cracks in the glass when used with a direct goal mount.
25 years – structure of wall-mounted basketball backstops and Shooting Station systems.
10 years – uprights on FeatherLite, PowerLite and Hybrid Steel volleyball net systems.
7 years – Collegiate competition basketball goals (GBA-542 "Shot", GBA-642 "Revolution").
5 years – Revolution Series 180° flex basketball goals.
3 years – the majority of the catalog: fixed and breakaway basketball goals, aluminum backboards, lacrosse and field hockey goals, floor sleeves, sleeve reducers and floor anchors, referee stands and equipment carriers.
1 year – bases, home plates and pitching rubbers, volleyball nets and net accessories (antennas, boundary tape, court lines), batting cage systems and general accessories.

The warranty covers factory defects under normal, intended use. Jaypro will repair, replace or refund the defective item at its discretion; claims require a Return Authorization (RMA) before any item is sent back.

Not covered: normal wear, weather exposure, cosmetic damage that does not affect function, improper installation, use other than intended, and any unauthorized alteration or modification of the original factory configuration. As an authorized Jaypro Sports dealer, JoySportStore files warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.

What is included in the N24GB kit?

Are wall anchors supplied?

No. All wall anchors are supplied by others because wall construction varies. Anchors should be a minimum of 1/2" diameter, thru-bolting is preferred where possible, and an architect or structural engineer should be consulted.

How much wall height is needed?

At a 4' face of bank the required wall height is 16'-5" with the chains attached to the top of the frame. Chain supports must always be at 45 degrees or greater; if the wall is not high enough, Jaypro can design a ceiling attachment.
